A Day at the Beach Multiplication Activities

Hey everyone! It's Jaime from Bright Concepts 4 Teachers. The end of the school year is quickly upon us and I still have so many standards I want to review with my kiddos-multiplication is a BIG one. I created a few beach themed activities to help bring summer to us sooner AND help my students with those multiplication concepts. I hope they can help your students too!

It includes a sorting flap book for the properties of 2, 3, 4 and 5, as well as activities to review arrays. Just click on the picture to download it from my TpT store.

Summer Reading With a Flashlight

Do  you want to get your kids reading more this summer? I might have a way to help them. I have a free poem to give to them along with a mini flashlight that I find at either the dollar stores or the big box stores. You can read more about it on my blog, Second In Line. Scroll down to the bottom of the post to see the freebie.

Writing Template

Aloha everyone! It's Corinna from Surfin' Through Second.  In class we have really been focusing in on our writing and trying to add more, to make our stories more interesting.  I have some excellent writers who don't need any help from me, but I have a few that just can't seem to get organized.

I created this template to help them to really focus and write more than just a few sentences!

I went over it with my class and showed them how to fill it in.

I am hoping with lots of practice my reluctant writers will start to naturally add a bit more.
Click on either picture to grab these in Google Docs.

To learn more about how I am using this, stop by my blog to check it out!
